Rules and Regulations

We are a family friendly farm and for the enjoyment of our guests we request that all visitors observe the following rules:

Upon Arrival
The speed limit on the farm is 5 mph.

During Your Stay
Guests must follow all of the following instructions
Quiet Hours
• Strictly no noise policy between the hours of 10.00pm and 8.00am.
• Generators and amplified music are not permitted on the campsite
​
Antisocial Behaviour
Noisy or rowdy behaviour of any guest, or that of their children or dog(s), which causes nuisance to other guests, or persistent violation of the Rules herein, will result in the guest/guests to cease the behaviour/violation, or leave the site immediately without refund.

Children
Please supervise children at all times
Accompany young children to the shower & toilet block
Do not allow children to play ball games beside or run across any other guests pitches.
The woods as you enter the site do not belong to us and contain some deep drains and ponds so please do not allow children to play in there.
Do not allow children to feed the sheep unless the farmer is there to supervise.

Smoking
Our farm is a smoke free space and we ask that all guest respect our complete no smoking policy.

Parking

Camping: Please park your car up in the parking area after you have pitched up and do not drive or park in the long grass.

Glamping: The glamping units are not accessible by car please park up on the hardstanding parking are by the showers and toilets and then use the wheelbarrow to ferry your belonging to your accommodation.

Cottage & Lodges: parking is available by the door for up to 2 cars.

BBQ’s and Fire pits
Must be purpose built and properly raised off the grass with a cinder or ash collection tray. No disposable BBQ’s.No camp fires with the exception of the purpose built fire pits we have available to hire. Fire pits must be extinguished by 10pm. You will find a purpose made area on your pitch which has been added for fire pits to be used on. This is to prevent burning the grass or causing fires do not move the fire pit from this area. Fire pits are not to be left unattended and must be supervised by a
responsible adult. Please dispose of your COLD ash in the metal ash bin not in the long grass.
Footpaths
Please keep to our two footpaths - the designated dog walk and the nature walk. Please do not wander around the fields stick to the way marked path.

Dogs
must be kept on a lead at all times when out and about on the farm.
When tied up by your unit, dogs must be kept on a lead of no more than two metres and never left unattended.

Property
Caravan units are not permitted to be left unattended overnight unless agreed with Site Owner.
​
Day visitors
Permitted with prior agreement and must leave by 8.00pm.

Departure Day
Members must vacate their pitch/glamping unit on the day of departure by:
• 10am for the glamping & self catering accommodation
• 12 midday for the camping pitches
Vacated pitches/glamping/self catering units must be left clear of all personal property and refuse.
Refuse & Recycling
The bins are located at the site entrance for campsite guests and by the door for Ireby.
• Pitches must be left as found, all rubbish to be disposed of correctly in the appropriate bins. Rubbish collection is very expensive for us - do not leave us with your broken chairs, mattresses or tents.
Maximum of 1 bag of rubbish is permitted per camping/glamping pitch.
• Glass - Please take all glass away with you if possible. Do not put it in the main wheelie bins. The nearest recycling point is in the car park of The Sun inn on the way into Morpeth. We do get fined if any glass is found by the council in our bins.

We do carry out regular spot checks of the site and have CCTV installed for security.
