Accessibility Statement – Tranwell Farm Holidays

Our Commitment

Tranwell Farm Holidays aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests. We recognise that disabilities can be visible or hidden and may include physical, sensory, cognitive, neurological or long-term health conditions.

This includes (but is not limited to) mobility impairments, temporary injuries, visual or hearing impairments, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and long-term health conditions such as COPD, renal failure or diabetes.

We encourage guests to contact us before booking so we can provide tailored advice and ensure the most suitable accommodation is allocated.

We also recognise the importance of hidden disability awareness, including schemes such as the Sunflower Lanyard, which supports guests who may need additional time, understanding or assistance without their disability being immediately visible.

We recognise that accessibility is not only physical. Some guests may require adjustments related to communication, sensory needs or confidence in unfamiliar environments.

We aim to support guests by:

  • Providing clear written pre-arrival information and directions

  • Offering contactless check-in to reduce pressure or social anxiety

  • Allowing guests to communicate specific needs before arrival so we can prepare accordingly

  • Supporting guests who may require additional time, reassurance or flexible arrangements

  • Maintaining a calm, quiet rural environment with minimal noise and light disturbance

We are aware of and supportive of the Sunflower Lanyard scheme, which helps identify guests with hidden disabilities who may require additional patience, assistance or understanding during their stay.

Sensory, Neurodiversity & Additional Needs

We aim to support guests with a range of additional needs:

  • Quiet rural setting with minimal traffic noise

  • Flexible arrival procedures (contactless check-in reduces social pressure)

  • Clear written pre-arrival instructions

  • Options for low-contact stays

  • Open communication for guests who may require additional time, reassurance or flexibility

We encourage guests with sensory sensitivities, anxiety, autism or other neurodivergent needs to contact us before arrival so we can help ensure the most suitable accommodation is allocated.
