Camping pods

New for 2023 we now have two camping pods so you can camp with us in comfort whatever the weather - (sleeping up to 2 adults plus one child)

Open Easter till the end of October

Rosie and Hawthorn our Camping pods will be ready and set up for you to just arrive and relax.  With a comfortable double bed, folding camp bed suitable for a child, dining table & chairs, kitchenette with gas hob, Log burning stove to keep you warm and cosy and a cool box with ice packs.  You will have use of the campsite shower and toilet block and pot wash station.

Set on one of our meadow pitches on our small family friendly quiet Greener Camping Club campsite on our farm at Tranwell near the historic market town of Morpeth in the heart of Northumberland.  Your £12 Greener Camping Club membership will be added automatically when you make a booking in our belle tent or shepherds huts.  

"Please Note - this is a quiet family friendly site, groups, loud music or rowdy behaviour are not tolerated at any time and you will be asked to leave.  We operate a strictly no noise rule between the hours of 10.00pm and 8.00am".

Whats Included?

  • Double bed. 

  • Childs pull out mattress.

  • Hobbit log burning stove and a supply of logs to keep you warm and cosy.

  • Clothes storage hanging rail and shelf unit

  • Solar lights and phone charging sockets

  • Cooking utensils, pans and crockery

  • Kitchenette.

  • Cool box - we provide an ice block freezing service and collect ice blocks to freeze from the welcome hut on a morning and evening.

  • Easy chairs and little table for your drinks to sit back and enjoy the view

  • Gas camping stove for a quick cuppa.

  • Use of our Shepherds hut toilet and shower block

  • Farm nature walk

  • Fire pit with BBQ rack (please bring your own charcoal and clean after use).

Please bring your own towels, duvet or sleeping bag, pillows and your favourite bed linen!

Minimum 2 night stays.

Pets welcome.

For the enjoyment of all our guests we do ask that all guests abide by our campsite rules below:-

Be considerate to other guests

No loud music at any time

Strictly no noise policy between the hours of 10.00pm and 8.00am

No smoking, staying up late drinking, noisy or rowdy behaviour 

Site Visitors - if you have anyone visiting you during your stay please keep to the site maximum of two visitors per pitch, all visitors must be booked in with us in advance and contact details taken to comply with Covid regulations and must vacate the site by 8pm.  

Do not allow children to play ball games or ride cycles around or near other guests pitches or climb fences.

BBQ's must be purpose built and raised of the grass and have a cinder or ash collection tray. No dosposable BBQ's due to fire risk

Footpaths - Please keep to our two footpaths - the designated dog walk and the nature walk.  Please do not wander around the fields stick to the way marked path.

The bell tent must be left as found, all rubbish to be disposed of correctly in the appropriate campsite bins.  We discourage the use of glass due to the site being on grazing land but if you do have any glass please take it away with you.  The nearest recycling point is in the car park of The Sun inn on the way into Morpeth.
