Celebrating Gold… Again!

We are absolutely delighted to share that Tranwell Farm Holidays has been awarded Gold for Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year at the North East Tourism Awards - for the second year running.

To be recognised once is incredibly special, but to receive this award again means so much to us as a small, family-run business. It’s a real reflection of the care, thought and hard work that goes into everything we do here on the farm.

What the Judges Said

This year, the judges highlighted several areas that really matter to us. They praised the variety of accommodation we offer, ensuring there is something to suit different types of guests, from off-grid camping and glamping to our woodland lodges and self-catering cottage.

They also recognised our focus on accessibility and inclusivity, creating a space where people can feel comfortable, welcome and able to enjoy their stay in their own way.

Perhaps most importantly, they commended our exceptional customer service which is something we genuinely care about. From the smallest details to the warmest welcomes, we always aim to make every guest feel at home.

And finally, they acknowledged our commitment to regenerative and sustainable tourism, a core part of Tranwell Farm from the very beginning.
